What is App connected?
In short
Whether a model in a grill range can be controlled from an app or over Wi-Fi.
App connected means the range includes a model that talks to a phone app or connects over Wi-Fi, usually so you can read or adjust cooking temperature remotely. It matters for long cooks, since you can check heat without opening the lid and losing it. Every brand in this group lists an app connected model: Big Green Egg's Egg Genius, Blackstone's pellet grill and Omnivore griddle, blumfeldt Europe's fire pit and heater models, Broil King's infrared grill, and Camp Chef's Woodwind.
