Our verdict

1001 Canvas suits adults who want a ready-to-paint canvas to finish in an evening, backed by a 30-day return window and free standard delivery on larger orders. It is a young, specialist seller, so trade buyers and shoppers hoping to spread the cost should keep looking.

What it does well

A 30-day return window starts the day your parcel arrives, so you can open the kit and begin painting before deciding whether to keep it. Standard delivery is free on orders over $50, which is the simplest way to hold the cost down on a kit. Kits arrive ready to paint: the canvas is stretched and primed, and the pots and brushes come in the same box, so there is nothing to put together and no assembly service for anyone who would rather pay somebody else for that work. Delivery is the only route to your order, because click and collect is not offered. Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice, and there is no price match, so a cheaper kit found elsewhere will not be matched. Finance is not offered either, so the full amount is settled at checkout rather than split across months.

Who runs it

The store is operated by 1001 Creative Crafts Studio LLC, a business based in the United States that was founded in 2024 by May and Ray. That start date makes it a young operation rather than an established name in craft retail, so the trading record behind an order is shorter than you would find at a long-running home store. Day to day questions reach a person through email and phone, which matters most when something has gone wrong with a parcel, since a described fault is easier to sort out than a form going nowhere. A named contact also helps when a kit arrives with colours that are not what you expected, and the return window then covers the simple case of a finished painting you decide you no longer want on the wall.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to return a kit?+

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. That gives you room to open the box and start on the painting before you commit to keeping it, so you are not choosing from the outside of the packaging.

Does delivery cost extra on a small order?+

Standard delivery is free once an order passes $50, so a single kit below that level can still pick up a shipping charge. Ordering a second painting or adding brush and paint accessories can clear the threshold and take the delivery cost out of the total.

Which countries do you ship to?+

Orders are delivered to 28 countries including Albania, Austria and Belgium, a list that reaches well beyond the United States base of the company. Because of that spread, the total shown at checkout is worked out for the address you order with, so check the final figure rather than assuming the home market price is yours.

Can I collect an order instead of waiting for it?+

No, click and collect is not offered. Everything comes to you by delivery, which keeps buying simple if you live far from a shop, but it does mean you cannot get hold of a kit on the day you decide. Ordering ahead of a gift date leaves more room.

Do I need to stretch and prime the canvas before I start?+

No. Kits need no assembly, because the canvas arrives stretched and primed with the paints, brushes and instructions in the same box. It also means there is no assembly service if you would rather hand that job to someone else, and an adult beginner can start painting straight away.

Can I pay in instalments?+

Finance is not offered, so the full amount is settled in one go at checkout rather than spread over time. There is no payment plan to join, which keeps things straightforward if you have the money ready, and free standard delivery over $50 takes cost off a larger basket.

Who runs the store?+

The site is operated by 1001 Creative Crafts Studio LLC, based in the United States and founded in 2024 by May and Ray. It is a young operation, so weigh that shorter trading record against free standard delivery on orders over $50 before you place an order.

How do I reach a person about an order?+

Support runs by phone and by email, and either route reaches the same small team behind the store. Keep your order details to hand, and if a kit arrives damaged, describe the fault before the 30-day return window closes so the claim is easy to follow.
