Pros and cons

Pros

  • HKTVmall lists furniture, beds and bedding, and Pottery Barn covers furniture, beds and bedding, so HKTVmall reaches into DIY and appliances as well.
  • Delivery is free on orders of HKD 100 to HKD 400, so a single large order clears the delivery charge.
  • Price match is offered, and click and collect is available for anything held at a pickup point.
  • Support runs on chat, email and help centre, and the store has traded since 1992 under Hong Kong Television Shopping Network Limited.
  • Furniture covers sofas, armchairs and beds, so a whole room can arrive in a single basket.

Cons

  • Returns run 7 days, which places HKTVmall at 85 of 90 brands on that measure.
  • Free delivery is not automatic: it applies on order values of HKD 100 to HKD 400, so a light basket still pays delivery.
  • In-home trial time is listed at 0 days, so you judge a sofa in your own room only after it arrives.
  • Support runs on chat, email and help centre only, with no phone line among the listed channels.

Who it suits

  • Home owners and renters in HK and MO who want furniture, beds, kitchenware and garden pieces in one order.
  • Shoppers who price check elsewhere and value the price match, especially on orders that reach HKD 100 to HKD 400.
  • Ballard Designs shoppers who want kitchen, lighting, garden, DIY or appliances beyond its furniture and decor.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Ballard Designs, if furniture and decor are all you need, since its categories are furniture and decor.
  • Pottery Barn, if you want exactly its category set, which runs furniture, beds and bedding and leaves out DIY and appliances.
  • buerostuhl24 Bürostühle und Büromöbel, since its range is furniture only and serves office buyers.

What it does well

Two things set HKTVmall apart from the stores next to it: a price match and click and collect. If the same piece turns up cheaper elsewhere, price match is offered, and click and collect lets you skip the delivery wait on anything held at a pickup point. The trade-off sits on the other side of the ledger, because the return window is set at 7 days. That is short for a sofa or a bed frame, so measure before you order rather than relying on time to change your mind.

Who runs it

HKTVmall is operated by Hong Kong Television Shopping Network Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, and has traded since 1992. Support runs on chat, email and help centre, which covers chat, email, a help centre and a community board. There is no phone line in that list, so chat is the channel to use when something is urgent.

Frequently asked questions

How much is delivery at HKTVmall?+

Delivery is free on orders of HKD 100 to HKD 400, so smaller baskets pay a delivery charge while larger ones do not. Price match is offered too, which means a cheaper listing elsewhere can be brought to the same level. Plan for the delivery charge when comparing baskets below the threshold.

What is the return window on sofas and beds?+

You get 7 days for returns, which is short next to most furniture stores on this comparison. There is no sleep trial at home, since in-home trial time is listed at 0 days. Measure your room and check product dimensions before a sofa or bed frame is ordered.

Which countries does HKTVmall deliver to?+

HKTVmall serves HK and MO, so one account covers the markets it lists. The store is based in Hong Kong and run by Hong Kong Television Shopping Network Limited. Orders placed outside those markets sit outside the listed terms, so check the delivery area before you commit to a bulky piece.

Does HKTVmall match competitor prices?+

Price match is offered, so a cheaper listing from another seller can be brought to the same level under the standard terms. Free delivery then applies on order values of HKD 100 to HKD 400. Keep the cheaper listing open when you contact support, since that is the reference the match rests on.

Can I collect my order instead of waiting for delivery?+

Yes, click and collect is offered, which suits anyone who wants small homeware or kitchen pieces without waiting for a courier. Standard delivery is listed at 0 weeks, so check the listing for a sofa or bed before you reserve a collection slot for something large.

How do I reach support after ordering?+

Support runs on chat, email and help centre. Chat suits a quick question, email suits order details, and the help centre holds the delivery and return policies in a single place. The community board is there for advice from other shoppers rather than for account queries.

Who runs HKTVmall and how long has it traded?+

The store is operated by Hong Kong Television Shopping Network Limited and based in Hong Kong. It has traded since 1992, which matters if you want a retailer with a long record before committing to a large sofa or a bed order.

Can I furnish a whole room at HKTVmall?+

The homeware range covers sofas, armchairs and beds, so a whole room can be filled from one seller. Returns are limited to 7 days and in-home trial time stands at 0 days, which leaves little room to change your mind on a bulky piece.
