Pros and cons
Pros
- Prices start at €2.32, so a small piece such as a topper, listed on 11.6% of listings, costs little.
- A price match is stated on 100% of listings, so a lower shelf price elsewhere is worth raising before you pay.
- Returns sit at 30, which keeps a mistimed sofa or bed decision from turning into a long problem.
- Support is easy to reach, with a help centre on 89% of listings, email on 86.2% and phone on 68.4%.
- Financing appears on 92.1% of listings, which spreads a bedroom set over time instead of a single large payment.
Cons
- Free delivery is stated on 73.1% of listings, so the remaining orders can carry a delivery charge at checkout.
- The top of the range reaches €15,784.44, so redoing a whole house runs expensive fast.
- Beds and bedding make up only 24.7% and 25.9% of the range, so a bedroom set takes more searching.
- Collection in store covers 37% of listings and assembly comes included on 19.8%, so flat pack pieces need planning.

The company behind it
Seltmann Weiden trades as Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann GmbH and is registered in Germany, so the seller on your order is a named German company rather than an anonymous marketplace listing. The business has traded since 1910, a long track record that tells you the brand name sits on a real operating business rather than a trading front. Look for that entity name on your order confirmation, because it is the party your order is placed with and the name to quote if a question comes up later. On a large furniture order it is also the address behind any disagreement about what was delivered or credited back.
How Seltmann Weiden compares
Frequently asked questions
What does a typical item cost at Seltmann Weiden?+
Prices start at €2.32, with a typical listing at €95. The mid band starts at €35.95 and climbs to €261.77, while the priciest listings reach €15,784.44. Mattresses are the big ticket, since a queen sits at €1,001.89.
Do I have to pay for delivery?+
Free delivery is stated on 73.1% of listings, which leaves the rest carrying a delivery charge at checkout. Timing is brisk for most orders: delivery lands within 1 weeks, while the slowest listings run 8. Bulky furniture is where the fee and the wait both tend to show up.
How many days do I have to send something back?+
Returns sit at 30 days on a typical listing, and the most generous policies run 365. That window gives you time to sleep on a mattress decision, which matters when a bed feels wrong after a few nights. Keep the packaging and delivery note until the return is settled.
Is assembly included with furniture?+
Assembly is included on 19.8% of listings, so most flat pack pieces arrive for you to build. A paid assembly service is offered on 72% of listings, which can be worth it for a wardrobe or a bed frame. Check the individual listing, since the two figures cover different products.
Can I pay in instalments?+
Financing is offered on 92.1% of listings, so a large bedroom set can be spread across payments instead of paid for in full. The remainder are charged at checkout as standard. Finance terms belong to the listing itself, so check the monthly figure and the total before you order.
How do I reach Seltmann Weiden if something goes wrong?+
A help centre appears on 89% of listings, email on 86.2% and phone on 68.4%. Live chat is offered on 32.6% of listings. A named person on the phone is the quickest route when a delivery has stalled or a return needs chasing.
What kind of shop is Seltmann Weiden?+
It is a general home store. Decor leads at 65.9% of listings, furniture follows at 61.2%, and kitchen, lighting and garden sit at 40%, 40% and 42.4%. Beds are thinner at 24.7% of listings.
Will Seltmann Weiden match a cheaper price elsewhere?+
A price match is stated on 100% of listings, so a lower shelf price at another seller is worth raising before you pay. Use the 423 brands in this category to line prices up first, and keep the cheaper listing handy when you order.
Which company stands behind the brand?+
The brand trades as Porzellanfabriken Christian Seltmann GmbH, registered in Germany, and has traded since 1910. That is the party named on your order confirmation, so a return or warranty claim goes to the company itself rather than to a marketplace intermediary. Worth checking the entity name on a large order.
