Our verdict
Wayfair suits households filling several rooms in one order, from beds to kitchen pieces, rather than shoppers chasing one specialty range. Its €95 entry price keeps the opening outlay low, and furniture, beds and bedding covers nearly every category on a short list.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry prices sit at a €95 median, so a first order can start small.
- Free delivery is offered and $35 is low enough to reach on a single item or two.
- The catalogue spans furniture, beds and bedding, so furniture, bedding and kitchen pieces share one cart.
- Delivery is quick: a 0 median and a 1 upper quartile for most orders.
- Mattress warranties run to a 5 median, with returns at 30.
Cons
- Support runs on help centre only, so a fault on a large order needs written back and forth.
- Warranty length varies widely, from a 0.25 floor to a 99 ceiling, so terms differ per product.
- Returns run from 0 to 365, so some lines are far stricter than the rest.
- Delivery times reach 8 at the top end, past the 1 most orders take.
Who it suits
- Householders outfitting several rooms at once who want one delivery instead of separate stores
- Renters and first-time buyers who want to keep a first order small at €95
- Shoppers who want to compare Pottery Barn categories and bedding options in one search
Who should look elsewhere
- Shoppers who want a single-brand bedroom range, since Ballard Designs keeps to furniture and decor
- Buyers who need office seating and desk furniture, where buerostuhl24 focuses on furniture
Who runs it
Wayfair is operated by Wayfair LLC, founded in 2002 and headquartered in the United States. It works as a marketplace rather than a single-brand retailer, which explains both the breadth of furniture, beds and bedding and the mixed product terms. After an order, support runs on help centre, so questions are handled in writing rather than in store. There is no branch network, since furniture, beds and bedding spans furniture, bedding, kitchen, lighting, decor, garden, diy and appliances under one roof. Compare that with Pottery Barn, which covers much the same set but without the diy and appliances lines.

Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to get started with Wayfair?+
Most lines start near €95, and the middle stretch of entry prices runs from €35.95 to €261.77. A queen mattress sits around €1,001.89, so beds push an order up quickly. The cheapest item listed is €2.32.
How long does delivery take?+
Most Wayfair orders arrive inside 1, with a median of 0. The slowest items listed take 8. Delivery is included on many items but not all, and free delivery applies above $35.
How long do returns run?+
Returns usually allow 30, and the middle of the range holds there from 30 to 30. The spread between 0 and 365 shows some lines are much stricter, so check the product page before ordering.
Do Wayfair mattresses come with a warranty or trial?+
Mattress warranties run to a 5 median, though the range stretches from 0.25 to 99. Sleep trial periods vary far more, from 0 on some lines to 365 on others, with 60 in the middle.
Can I pay for a big order over time?+
Yes. Pay over time is offered at checkout, which spreads the cost of larger furniture and mattress orders rather than charging the full amount up front. It applies to the items it covers, so a mixed cart can combine pay over time lines with items paid in full.
What categories can I buy in one order?+
Wayfair covers furniture, beds and bedding, so furniture, beds, bedding, kitchen, lighting, decor, garden and small diy items can share one cart and one delivery. Kitchen pieces sit alongside bedroom furniture, which suits outfitting more than one room in a single trip.
How do I get help after ordering?+
Support runs on help centre, with written help the main route for order questions and faults. Assembly help is offered on a good share of products, and a help service can be booked for larger furniture pieces where self-assembly is impractical.
Where does Wayfair operate and deliver?+
Wayfair is headquartered in the United States and delivers within US, with delivery windows set per seller and product. Standard delivery is the norm, with a 0 median wait for most items.
