What is Induction ready?
In short
Whether a brand's pans sit on an induction hob.
Induction ready means a pan has a base that responds to the magnetic field an induction hob generates, so it heats rather than the hob simply sitting there cold. Most pans need a magnetic stainless steel or iron base, and many ranges need a base disc roughly as wide as the cooking zone. All five brands in this group make induction ready pans: B&Q across its cookware range, Caraway's fry pan, dunelm's pots and pans, EdenPURE's stainless steel fry pan, and ERATEC's coated steel pan.
