Residential and commercial ranges
Lighting from this store spans both homes and business spaces, so one shopper can plan matching fixtures for a house and for a shop or office. The range covers ceiling and pendant lights, wall sconces, vanity lights, ceiling fans with light kits and outdoor wall lights. Several collections bring together fixtures from well known lighting makers, giving buyers a broad choice of finishes and shapes. Planning a whole project in one place helps keep the look consistent from room to room.
A long running lighting business
The brand traces its roots to a lighting store that opened in Newark, New Jersey, and has grown over more than a century. The online shop belongs to Capitol Lighting, a company that has built its name on variety and on treating customers and staff like family. Its catalogue brings many lighting brands and styles together under one roof, which suits people who prefer to compare fixtures without visiting several shops. The company values long relationships with the people who buy from it.
Planning by room
Shoppers who plan a full room or a building project can match fixtures by purpose, style and scale. Choosing lights for a kitchen, a bathroom, a hallway and an outdoor entrance at the same time keeps finishes consistent. Planning each zone before choosing fixtures makes a large selection easier to manage. Ceiling, wall and outdoor pieces can be grouped by room, which keeps lighting levels balanced. This approach suits homeowners renovating a few rooms as well as teams fitting out a commercial space.
