Pros and cons
Pros
- Entry price places 1 on price from out of 82 brands ranked, ahead of the rival ranges
- Made to measure is offered, so a rug can be sized to the room rather than picked from fixed sizes
- Returns run 30 days, and a custom rug can go back inside that window if the sizing is wrong
- Help is offered on email, chat and phone, so a sizing question can be raised before an order is placed
- The shop has been trading since 2010 under Picanova, Inc., with a named company behind orders
Cons
- Machine washable is no, while Garvee, Revival Rugs and Super Area Rugs all list washable rugs
- Shipping covers US only, so orders placed outside the country pay delivery on top of the item price
- Free delivery applies from $75, and a single rug often sits under that order value
- Return days place 16 of 109 brands ranked, so the window sits in the middle of the field

Who it suits
- US buyers fitting an awkward room who want a rug sized to the space
- Shoppers who treat a rug as a one off purchase and can live with spot cleaning
- People who want help by phone or chat as well as email before ordering
Who should look elsewhere
- Shoppers who need a machine washable rug, where Garvee or Revival Rugs fit better
- Buyers outside the US, since shipping covers US only and delivery is added
- Anyone wanting rugs plus a wider decor range, where Super Area Rugs lists more product types
What it does well
Canvasdiscount.com sells rugs inside a wider decor range, and the rug line rests on made to measure sizing. Made to measure is offered, so a rug can be produced to the measurements of a room rather than chosen from a fixed set of sizes, which helps with awkward corners and unusual dimensions. Returns are handled over 30 days, so a custom rug of the wrong size or colour can go back inside that window. The gap worth weighing is cleaning, because machine washable is no, which leaves spot cleaning as the care method. Washable rugs sit at the centre of the ranges at Garvee, Revival Rugs and Super Area Rugs.
Where it sits among rivals
On price, Canvasdiscount.com leads this comparison. It places 1 on price from out of 82 brands ranked, so its entry figure is the one rival ranges are measured against. Returns tell a flatter story: the shop places 16 on return days out of 109 brands ranked, which puts its window in the middle of the field. That split describes the shape of the category. The price column is where this shop leads, and the returns column is where a longer commitment elsewhere earns its place. The difference matters to buyers who need time to judge a custom piece against the room, and matters less to a well planned single purchase.
Pricing
Rugs are listed from $4.30, an entry figure rather than the cost of a full room, since a made to measure rug is priced around the measurements supplied. The figure shown on a product is the figure paid at checkout, rather than an opening rate that later renews higher. Free delivery applies from $75, and a single rug will often sit under that order value, so shipping can weigh more heavily than the entry price on a small order. Buyers ordering once with the measurements settled can weigh another rug or some decor into the basket to clear that line.

Frequently asked questions
What does a rug cost at Canvasdiscount.com?+
Rugs are listed from $4.30, and the shop places 1 on price from out of 82 brands ranked. A made to measure rug is priced around the measurements supplied, so a larger room costs more than the starting figure shown on the smallest listing.
Can I order a rug in my own measurements?+
Made to measure is offered, so a rug can be produced to fit a specific room rather than a standard size, which suits awkward shapes and unusual dimensions. Returns run 30 days, so a badly sized rug can still go back inside that window after it arrives.
How long do I have to return a rug?+
Returns are handled over 30 days. On this measure the shop places 16 on return days out of 109 brands ranked, so the window sits in the middle of the field. Buyers who need longer to judge a custom piece may prefer a wider window elsewhere.
Can the rugs go in a washing machine?+
No. Machine washable is listed as no, so care falls to spot cleaning. Buyers with pets, children or regular spills will find washable rugs in the ranges at Garvee, Revival Rugs or Super Area Rugs, where washable rugs sit alongside standard rugs.
Does delivery cost extra?+
Free delivery applies from $75. A single rug will often sit under that order value, so shipping can weigh more heavily than the low entry figure of $4.30 on a small order. Adding another rug or some decor is more likely to clear the line.
Which countries does Canvasdiscount.com ship to?+
Shipping covers US. Orders placed outside that market pay delivery on every purchase, which can reduce the saving shown by the entry price of $4.30. Buyers inside the market can plan around the free delivery threshold instead.
How do I get help with a custom order?+
Support runs on email, chat and phone, so a sizing question can be raised by phone, chat, email or through the help centre before an order is placed. Confirming measurements first is worthwhile, since a rug made to measure cannot be resized after it is produced.
How long has the shop been trading?+
The shop has been trading since 2010 and is operated by Picanova, Inc.. That trading history offers some reassurance when placing an order, and the range also covers wall art, rugs and decor if you want decor added to the same basket.
