Who it suits

  • Readers who want a rug they can wash at home rather than arrange a specialist clean.
  • Shoppers whose room measures between standard listings and need a custom length.
  • Buyers in the UK and the US who are comfortable with orders shipped from Turkey.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Buyers who want a long established trading record, since Mihrikilim was incorporated in 2025.
  • Anyone hoping to spread payment outside Turkey, since instalments are offered to eligible customers in Turkey under their own bank's policies.

What it does well

Mihrikilim leads with washing and sizing. Machine washable rugs are sold in the range, so a small piece can go through a home machine rather than a specialist clean, which suits kitchens, bathrooms and nurseries where spills are routine. Made to measure rugs are offered too, and they ship within a stated dispatch period instead of being pulled from stock, so a room that measures oddly does not force a compromise. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, giving you time to judge colour and pile against your own floor before deciding to keep it. The practical read is that the catalogue is built for everyday use rather than for display only, and the sizing is flexible enough to follow a room instead of the other way round.

Who runs it

Mihrikilim trades as Gordion Carpet Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom that was incorporated in 2025. Production and operations are managed in Turkiye, so the making sits outside the UK while the customer facing company sits here. That split is worth holding on to when something goes wrong with an order: the registered company is the one you deal with, and it is a young one. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, and every order leaves from Turkey rather than from a UK warehouse.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Mihrikilim rugs cost?+

Rugs are listed from $90.44, and that figure comes from a runner rug page where a Valhalla Beige machine washable vintage rug is marked down from its regular price. Read it as one listing rather than a promise about every rug, and check the product page for the rug you actually want.

How long do I have to return a rug?+

Customers may return products within 30 days of delivery. That is enough time to lay the rug out, look at the colour in your own light and send it back if the pattern or pile does not suit the room.

What does Mihrikilim sell?+

Mihrikilim sells rugs and washable rugs. The catalogue covers runner and round shapes, kilim styles and Persian style designs, with washable options on some rugs. Sizes run across standard listings, and made to measure is offered for rooms that need a different length.

Where is Mihrikilim based and where do orders ship from?+

The company is registered in the United Kingdom and was incorporated in 2025, while production and operations are managed in Turkiye. Every order is shipped from Turkey, and delivery reaches the UK and the US.

Can I pay in instalments?+

Installment plans are offered to eligible customers in Turkey, and the terms follow the policies of their own bank rather than anything Mihrikilim sets. Shoppers elsewhere pay the full amount at checkout, where the entry figure on the runner rug pages is $90.44.

What are the rugs made from?+

Fibre content is listed per rug rather than promised across the whole catalogue. One washable vintage rug gives cotton and polyester, and other designs can differ, so read the product page for the rug in front of you.

Who runs Mihrikilim?+

Mihrikilim trades as Gordion Carpet Ltd, a company with its registered base in the United Kingdom that was incorporated in 2025. The making happens in Turkiye, so the seller you deal with and the place your rug is produced are two different places.

Are the rugs machine washable and can sizes be custom?+

Both are on offer. Machine washable rugs are sold for home cleaning, and made to measure rugs ship within a stated dispatch period instead of coming from stock, which suits a room between standard sizes. Either way, returns of 30 days apply.
