Our verdict

Saunaloft suits buyers who want a hot tub and a sauna from a single German shop and who budget delivery separately. Its largest swim spas hold 8 people, plug and play models need no installation, and finance is available at checkout, while delivery is not included.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • The range covers hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa, so a hot tub buyer can add a sauna to the same order.
  • Swim spas hold 8 people, which puts Saunaloft at 4 of 21 brands on seating.
  • Plug and play is offered, so a garden does not need a fixed install crew.
  • Finance is available at checkout, so a swim spa does not have to be paid for in a single go.
  • Support runs on email, phone and help centre, covering phone and a help centre alongside email.

Cons

  • Delivery sits on top of the price rather than inside it, so the delivered total runs above the €529 entry figure on every order.
  • The €529 entry price comes from the inflatable range, while seating of 8 people belongs to the swim spas, so those figures do not describe the same product.
  • Shipping is listed for DE, AT and NL, so buyers outside that list sit outside the stated delivery reach.
  • Live chat is not among email, phone and help centre, so out-of-hours questions wait for email, phone or the community.

Who it suits

  • Buyers who want a hot tub and a sauna from a single supplier instead of separate sellers.
  • Households with room for a swim spa that holds 8 people.
  • Shoppers inside DE, AT and NL who can arrange delivery and setup themselves.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Lay-Z-Spa, if cold plunge water is the goal, since Lay-Z-Spa lists hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge.
  • Wave Spas Main, for shoppers content with hot tub and inflatable hot tub and a narrower catalogue.
  • Almost Heaven Saunas, whose sauna, infrared sauna and cold plunge mix suits buyers who want a cold plunge next to the sauna.

Where it sits among rivals

On price from, Saunaloft sits at 7 of 25 brands compared, so the entry figure lands near the front of the field without topping it. On seating, the same shop climbs to 4 of 21 brands, which is where the swim spa range pays off. Buyers sorting by seat count find Saunaloft climbing; buyers sorting by entry price find it in the middle of the pack. Groups shopping for a full occupancy should weight seating over the sticker number on the cheapest model.

What it does well

Seating runs to 8 people on the swim spas, and heaters cover 6 to 9 kW across the tub and sauna models. Plug and play is part of the range, so a unit can be filled and used without a build crew. Finance is available, which matters at the swim spa end where the price sits far above the entry level. Delivery is not included, so the figure in the range and the figure at the garden gate are different numbers. Heater output and seat count are the pair that decides which model actually fits.

Who runs it

The operator is Enners UG (haftungsbeschraenkt), headquartered in Germany. Terms, warranty claims and consumer rights therefore sit with a single named company rather than a marketplace and a separate manufacturer. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so email, phone, a help centre and a community are all listed routes to an answer. Buyers who expect chat-style replies outside working hours may find that mix narrower than they would like.

Frequently asked questions

What does the entry price at Saunaloft cover?+

The €529 entry price sits at the inflatable end of the range. Swim spas, hot tubs, saunas and infrared saunas all sit above it, and the largest models hold 8 people. Delivery is not included either, so the number a buyer meets in the range is not the number a unit lands at in the garden.

Does delivery and setup come with the price?+

Delivery is not included with Saunaloft units, so the cost of getting a swim spa to a garden sits on top of the price. Plug and play models skip an installation crew, but the 6 to 9 kW heater still needs a power supply and water connected. Buyers should ask for a transport quote before ordering, and check the electrical supply against that output.

Is finance offered on these units?+

Finance is available on Saunaloft purchases, which spreads the cost of a larger unit over time. It matters most at the swim spa end of the range, where seating of 8 people puts the price well past the €529 entry level. Readers comparing monthly outflow rather than sticker price should settle the schedule at checkout, since the entry figure is not a financed amount.

Who is behind Saunaloft?+

Saunaloft trades as Enners UG (haftungsbeschraenkt), with its headquarters in Germany. Terms, warranty claims and consumer rights sit with that entity, so buyers know who they are contracting with before an order goes in. Support also belongs to the same company, which means a delivery problem or a water chemistry question goes to a single counterparty.

How do you reach support after buying?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so email, phone, a help centre and a community are all listed routes. Phone and the help centre suit a delivery or water chemistry problem, while the community covers longer setup threads. Live chat is not among the listed channels, so out-of-hours questions may wait until the next working day.

Which countries can Saunaloft ship to?+

Shipping is listed for DE, AT and NL, which covers a wide band of European markets. Buyers inside that list can order direct from the German operation. Anyone outside it is not covered by the stated shipping policy, and for a swim spa with seating of 8 people the transport route is worth confirming before a delivery date is assumed.

Does Saunaloft sell saunas too, or only hot tubs?+

The range lists hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa, so hot tub and sauna buyers can deal with a single supplier. That is a wider mix than Wave Spas Main, which lists hot tub and inflatable hot tub, and it puts infrared cabins next to traditional saunas. Almost Heaven Saunas covers sauna, infrared sauna and cold plunge for readers who want a cold plunge alongside the sauna.

How powerful are the heaters?+

Heater output covers 6 to 9 kW, and that figure decides how quickly a tub or sauna reaches temperature and what supply a garden needs. A modest supply suits the lower end of that range, while the upper end expects more. Readers with a fixed electrical setup should check the figure against the model they have in mind before ordering.

How many people fit in the swim spas?+

The largest swim spas in the range hold 8 people, which is above the 7 median across the brands on this site. That puts Saunaloft on the shortlist for families and groups rather than couples. Smaller inflatable and hot tub models sit below that figure, so seat count and price move together across the range.
