Personal data handling

The company behind the French range is a simplified joint-stock company, and its privacy and cookie notes are written in French. Those notes explain which personal details are gathered, including identity, delivery and billing contact details, bank card information, purchase history and marketing preferences. They also set out how that information is used, the legal basis for each use and the parties it may be passed to. Shoppers can refuse cookies through the options the notes outline, and the notes explain how long different data is kept.

Who runs the French range

Tempur FR is run in France by the French arm of a wider international group, organised as a simplified joint-stock company. Its legal notices are published in French and give the company's registered details, including its company and tax identifiers. The wider group is the brand's parent, while the French arm concentrates on sleep products aimed at buyers in that market. Shoppers can therefore check which legal entity stands behind the French range.
