Pros and cons
Bast Sauna
Pros
- Prices from €525.95, well below the €1,402.26 median for this group, so a cold plunge or small sauna is a realistic first buy.
- Covers sauna and cold plunge in one range, where Vellgus offers infrared sauna alone.
- Finance is available and delivery is included, so the listed figure is closer to the figure you pay.
Cons
- Plug and play is not offered, so setup belongs to the buyer.
- Warranty of 2 years ranks 11 of 18 against a group median of 4 years.
- The range is sauna and cold plunge only, against hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa at Saunaloft and hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge at Lay-Z-Spa, so there is no hot tub option here.
Sun Home Saunas
Pros
- Lifetime warranty puts Sun Home Saunas at 1 of 18 brands compared on length, a gap the rest of the group does not share.
- The range covers sauna, infrared sauna and cold plunge, where Vellgus lists infrared sauna on its own.
- Support runs on email, chat and phone, so help is available by phone and chat as well as email and a help centre.
Cons
- Delivery included is a no, so the $3,799 entry price is not the landed cost.
- Entry price of $3,799 places it 17 of 25 brands on price, above the middle of the field.
- Plug and play is a no, so setup takes more than a socket and a switch.

Questions about each
Bast Sauna
How much does a Bast Sauna sauna or cold plunge cost to start?+
Prices start at €525.95 on the ice bath collection, well under the €1,402.26 median for the saunas and cold plunges group. Delivery is included at that figure, so the headline number is closer to what you pay than a bare unit price. Larger sauna builds sit above it.
Does delivery cost extra on a Bast Sauna order?+
Delivery is included in the listed price, so the €525.95 starting figure is the number you plan around rather than a unit price plus freight. Sales run across AX, AT and BE, so check your country sits in that list before ordering, since included delivery is stated for the range as sold.
Sun Home Saunas
What does a Sun Home Saunas setup cost?+
The lowest price listed is $3,799 for a cold plunge tub, with saunas and infrared cabins in the same range. Finance is available, so the purchase can be spread rather than paid in one go. Delivery is not part of that starting figure, which keeps the headline number below the real outlay.
Is delivery included in the price?+
Delivery included is a no, so freight sits outside the $3,799 starting price and is billed separately. For a heavy unit such as a cabin or a plunge, that extra cost is worth pricing before you order. Finance covers the product, and it does not change how the delivery charge is handled.
