Pros and cons

Pros

  • Prices from €525.95, well below the €1,402.26 median for this group, so a cold plunge or small sauna is a realistic first buy.
  • Covers sauna and cold plunge in one range, where Vellgus offers infrared sauna alone.
  • Finance is available and delivery is included, so the listed figure is closer to the figure you pay.
  • Seats max of 10 people puts more people in the room than the group median of 7.

Cons

  • Plug and play is not offered, so setup belongs to the buyer.
  • Warranty of 2 years ranks 11 of 18 against a group median of 4 years.
  • The range is sauna and cold plunge only, against hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa at Saunaloft and hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge at Lay-Z-Spa, so there is no hot tub option here.

Who it suits

  • Households ordering a garden sauna and a cold plunge together, who prefer one seller and one delivery.
  • Buyers in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the rest of the markets listed under AX, AT and BE.
  • Groups who want more seats than most of the field offers, with a seats max of 10 people.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Lay-Z-Spa shoppers who want a hot tub or inflatable hot tub beside the plunge, since Lay-Z-Spa lists hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge.
  • Vellgus buyers who only want infrared, since Vellgus lists infrared sauna and nothing wider.
  • Anyone who needs plug and play, since plug and play is not offered here.

How it compares on our data

On price from, Bast Sauna sits at 6 of 25 brands, so the entry figure lands among the cheaper rows of the group. Seating reverses that picture: 2 of 21 brands sit at or below this seats max, the strongest row on the page. Warranty years land at 11 of 18, the softest of the three. Buyers choosing on room for everyone come away ahead here, while buyers choosing on cover length find a shorter commitment than most.

Core features

Capacity is the headline feature, with a seats max of 10 people that fits more people than most of the group. Cover runs 2 years, a modest commitment next to longer guarantees elsewhere in the category. Delivery is included in the price and finance is available, so a larger build can be spread rather than settled in one payment. Plug and play is not offered, which puts assembly on the buyer. The trade reads plainly: more seats and simple buying against shorter cover and some setup work.

The company behind it

Behind Bast Sauna sits Bast Investment Group AB, headquartered in Sweden, so the contract you sign sits with a Swedish business. Support runs on email, chat and phone, giving you email, chat, phone and a help centre rather than a single inbox. That spread suits anyone who would rather phone a team than wait on a ticket, and it matters more for a timber cabin bought for years of use than for a cold plunge.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Bast Sauna sauna or cold plunge cost to start?+

Prices start at €525.95 on the ice bath collection, well under the €1,402.26 median for the saunas and cold plunges group. Delivery is included at that figure, so the headline number is closer to what you pay than a bare unit price. Larger sauna builds sit above it.

Does delivery cost extra on a Bast Sauna order?+

Delivery is included in the listed price, so the €525.95 starting figure is the number you plan around rather than a unit price plus freight. Sales run across AX, AT and BE, so check your country sits in that list before ordering, since included delivery is stated for the range as sold.

Can you pay for a Bast Sauna build in instalments?+

Finance is available, which matters most when a sauna cabin rather than a plunge is on the order. Entry pricing of €525.95 needs no finance, but a full build with included delivery can, and the finance option spreads the purchase. Terms sit with Bast Investment Group AB.

How many people fit in a Bast Sauna?+

The seats max is 10 people, ranking 2 of 21 in the saunas and cold plunges group. The group median is 7, so this brand sits well clear of a typical sauna size. Check floor space and ceiling height before ordering.

How long is the Bast Sauna guarantee?+

The warranty runs 2 years, ranking 11 of 18 brands on that row and sitting below the group median of 4 years. A timber cabin exposed to weather is a long commitment, so cover length deserves attention here.

Do I have to assemble a Bast Sauna myself?+

Plug and play is not offered, so plan on setup work rather than unboxing and switching on. It matters more for a cabin or tent than for a cold plunge. Seating of 10 people in a compact footprint also needs floor and ceiling space checked before delivery day.

How do I reach Bast Sauna support?+

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so email, chat, phone and a help centre are all options, with the team at Bast Investment Group AB. That is broader than a single email address and sits at the wider end of the channels seen across the saunas and cold plunges group, where a help centre is the most common.

Which countries does Bast Sauna sell to?+

Sales cover AX, AT and BE, a broad European footprint that includes the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. Anything outside that list means freight and terms would need checking with Bast Investment Group AB first, since included delivery is stated for the listed range.
