Pros and cons
Bast Sauna
Pros
- Prices from €525.95, well below the €1,402.26 median for this group, so a cold plunge or small sauna is a realistic first buy.
- Covers sauna and cold plunge in one range, where Vellgus offers infrared sauna alone.
- Finance is available and delivery is included, so the listed figure is closer to the figure you pay.
Cons
- Plug and play is not offered, so setup belongs to the buyer.
- Warranty of 2 years ranks 11 of 18 against a group median of 4 years.
- The range is sauna and cold plunge only, against hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa at Saunaloft and hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge at Lay-Z-Spa, so there is no hot tub option here.
Saunaloft
Pros
- The range covers hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa, so a hot tub buyer can add a sauna to the same order.
- Swim spas hold 8 people, which puts Saunaloft at 4 of 21 brands on seating.
- Plug and play is offered, so a garden does not need a fixed install crew.
Cons
- Delivery sits on top of the price rather than inside it, so the delivered total runs above the €529 entry figure on every order.
- The €529 entry price comes from the inflatable range, while seating of 8 people belongs to the swim spas, so those figures do not describe the same product.
- Shipping is listed for DE, AT and NL, so buyers outside that list sit outside the stated delivery reach.
Who each suits
Bast Sauna
Who it suits

- Buyers in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the rest of the markets listed under AX, AT and BE.

Who should look elsewhere
- Lay-Z-Spa shoppers who want a hot tub or inflatable hot tub beside the plunge, since Lay-Z-Spa lists hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge.
- Vellgus buyers who only want infrared, since Vellgus lists infrared sauna and nothing wider.
- Anyone who needs plug and play, since plug and play is not offered here.
Saunaloft
Who it suits
- Buyers who want a hot tub and a sauna from a single supplier instead of separate sellers.
- Households with room for a swim spa that holds 8 people.
- Shoppers inside DE, AT and NL who can arrange delivery and setup themselves.
Who should look elsewhere
- Lay-Z-Spa, if cold plunge water is the goal, since Lay-Z-Spa lists hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge.

- Almost Heaven Saunas, whose sauna, infrared sauna and cold plunge mix suits buyers who want a cold plunge next to the sauna.

Questions about each
Bast Sauna
How much does a Bast Sauna sauna or cold plunge cost to start?+
Prices start at €525.95 on the ice bath collection, well under the €1,402.26 median for the saunas and cold plunges group. Delivery is included at that figure, so the headline number is closer to what you pay than a bare unit price. Larger sauna builds sit above it.
Does delivery cost extra on a Bast Sauna order?+
Delivery is included in the listed price, so the €525.95 starting figure is the number you plan around rather than a unit price plus freight. Sales run across AX, AT and BE, so check your country sits in that list before ordering, since included delivery is stated for the range as sold.
Saunaloft
What does the entry price at Saunaloft cover?+
The €529 entry price sits at the inflatable end of the range. Swim spas, hot tubs, saunas and infrared saunas all sit above it, and the largest models hold 8 people. Delivery is not included either, so the number a buyer meets in the range is not the number a unit lands at in the garden.
Does delivery and setup come with the price?+
Delivery is not included with Saunaloft units, so the cost of getting a swim spa to a garden sits on top of the price. Plug and play models skip an installation crew, but the 6 to 9 kW heater still needs a power supply and water connected. Buyers should ask for a transport quote before ordering, and check the electrical supply against that output.
