Pros and cons

Pros

  • Seats of 13 people give the group its largest bathing capacity, ranking 1 of 21 on the measure.
  • Warranty cover of 5 to 10 years runs well past the 2 year median for hot tubs on this site.
  • The range spans hot tub and swim spa, so a swim spa is available alongside a hot tub.
  • Support covers email, phone and help centre, and phone support is the norm here, sitting at 68.4% across the site.

Cons

  • Plug and play is no, so anyone hoping for a tub that needs no setup visit will look past this brand.
  • Entry at $8,395 ranks 24 of 25 brands on price from, making it one of the costliest starts in the group.
  • Support runs on email, phone and help centre only, with no live chat or community forum listed for owners.
  • Sales run in the United States, CA and GB only, so buyers elsewhere have a shorter list of dealers to compare.

Who it suits

  • Households that fill a single tub with the whole family, since seats reach 13 people.
  • Buyers who rank warranty length above entry price, with cover of 5 to 10 years.
  • Shoppers in the United States, CA and GB who want a hot tub and a swim spa under a single brand.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Lay-Z-Spa buyers, since hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge adds inflatable hot tubs and a cold plunge to a range Bullfrog Spas covers as hot tub and swim spa.
  • Saunaloft shoppers, since hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa pairs a swim spa with sauna and infrared sauna models, none of which sit in the Bullfrog Spas range of hot tub and swim spa.
  • Wave Spas Main buyers after an inflatable tub, since hot tub and inflatable hot tub covers inflatable hot tubs while Bullfrog Spas lists hot tub and swim spa.

Where it sits among rivals

Bullfrog Spas ranks 24 of 25 brands on price from, which puts the entry figure close to the priciest end of the group. Seating tells the opposite story: 1 of 21 brands on seats max. Buyers who weigh money most heavily will feel the first number, and buyers who weigh room for a gathering will find little to argue with.

What it does well

Capacity is the headline. Seats max out at 13 people, and the range covers hot tub and swim spa, so a swim spa sits alongside a hot tub for anyone who wants more water than a bath gives. Warranty length is the second strength, with cover running 5 to 10 years. Installation is the trade-off, since plug and play is no.

Who runs it

The brand is run by Bullfrog International, LC, headquartered in the United States and trading since 1996. Buyers weighing a long warranty usually want a named company standing behind it, and this is a registered entity rather than a marketplace seller. After sales, support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a help center sits alongside direct phone and email contact.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Bullfrog Spas hot tub cost?+

Entry pricing starts at $8,395. That places the brand 24 of 25 brands on price from, so the starting figure sits close to the priciest end of the group. The figure covers the range as a whole rather than a single model.

How many people fit in a Bullfrog Spas tub?+

Seats max out at 13 people, the highest count recorded among the brands compared on that measure, at 1 of 21. For scale, the site median for seating is 7, so this is a genuinely large tub rather than a couple's bath.

How long is the Bullfrog Spas warranty?+

Warranty cover runs 5 to 10 years, depending on the model you pick. The hot tub category on this site has a median of 2 years, and the site-wide warranty median is 5 years, so this brand commits for longer than most.

Which countries can I buy a Bullfrog Spas in?+

The brand sells in the United States, CA and GB and is headquartered in the United States. Buyers outside those markets should confirm delivery and service coverage in their own country before ordering, as the listed markets are the only ones covered by the range and the warranty.

Do Bullfrog Spas tubs need a professional setup?+

Plug and play is no, so the tub is not delivered ready to soak without a setup visit. Across this site, 78.9% of the comparable products carry that label, which puts Bullfrog Spas with the minority on installation convenience.

Does Bullfrog Spas sell inflatable tubs or saunas?+

The range covers hot tub and swim spa, so the choice is between a hot tub and a swim spa. Inflatable models and saunas sit elsewhere: hot tub, inflatable hot tub and cold plunge and hot tub, inflatable hot tub and swim spa both add formats Bullfrog Spas does not list, and those brands are worth checking if a sealed inflatable or a sauna cabin is the goal.

How do I reach Bullfrog Spas support?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, which puts phone and email alongside a self service help center. Phone is also the commonest route among hot tub brands here, at 76.9%, and a help center appears at 92.3%, so neither channel is unusual for the category.

Who runs Bullfrog Spas?+

The brand is run by Bullfrog International, LC, a company headquartered in the United States and trading since 1996. Buyers weighing warranty cover of 5 to 10 years often want a named company behind the paperwork, and this is an entity rather than a marketplace seller.
