Our verdict

Tochta suits sleepers who want a long trial and a long warranty on a mattress made in their own country. A risk-free 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty cover most first-time buyer worries, though old mattress removal is not something the brand handles.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A 10-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, so a defect claim has years behind it.
  • Every foam used in its mattresses is certipur us certified.
  • Delivery is free within the contiguous United States.
  • Beyond mattresses, Tochta sells sheets and toppers, so a mattress order can pick up an extra piece for the bed without a second shop.

Cons

  • Old mattress removal is not included: Tochta says it is not responsible for removal or donation costs.
  • Free delivery stops at the contiguous United States, so Alaska and Hawaii orders carry an extra charge.
  • The 10-year warranty is written around manufacturing defects, so it answers a defect claim rather than a change of mind.

Who it suits

  • Buyers who want to sleep on a mattress at home before committing, since the risk-free window runs 100 nights.
  • Side sleepers who want a taller profile, since the Utopia mattress is listed at 15.24 to 25.4 cm.
  • If memory foam is your target, Utopia pairs a dual phase quick recovery foam with a soft and firm feel at the same time.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Anyone who needs the old mattress taken away, since removal and donation are not covered.
  • Buyers in Alaska or Hawaii, where shipping carries an extra charge.

Core features

A risk-free 100-night trial sits behind Tochta mattresses, so the decision can be made on a mattress that has been slept on at home rather than read about on a product page. The 10-year warranty then covers manufacturing defects for the years that follow, which is the figure most buyers check alongside the trial window. Profile thickness matters just as much for side sleepers, and the Utopia mattress is listed at 15.24 to 25.4 cm, so a taller build can be judged before ordering rather than discovered afterwards. Delivery is free, which keeps the figure at checkout intact and avoids a freight line appearing later. One gap sits outside all of that: old mattress removal. Tochta states it is not responsible for removal or donation costs, so arranging a hauler is your own task. Buyers replacing a mattress in a tight rental or a small bedroom should price that step into their budget before the mattress arrives, not after.

The company behind it

The site is operated by TOCHTA, the legal entity named in its terms and conditions. The company is based in the United States, and each mattress is hand-made in Southern California, which keeps production domestic rather than imported. That base shapes what comes next in practical terms: support runs through email, phone and help centre, so a question about a trial, a warranty claim or a delivery window can go to a person by phone, by email or through the online help centre. Buyers who care about accountability rather than marketing language can find the trial terms, the warranty wording and the shipping rules written out rather than promised in a headline. Nothing about the setup suggests a broker or a marketplace reseller, which matters when you are deciding who is actually responsible for a mattress that needs to be collected.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the Tochta mattress trial and how do I return one?+

Tochta offers a risk-free 100-night money back guarantee, so the mattress can be slept on at home before you decide. Returns are exercised directly with the brand, and the clock runs from delivery rather than from the order date. A return therefore has to be raised within 100 days of the mattress arriving.

What does the Tochta mattress warranty cover?+

The 10-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, including body impressions beyond a stated depth. It is a defect cover rather than a comfort promise, so a mattress that simply feels softer than you hoped would not fall under it. Buyers who expect to change their mind after several years should read the warranty wording closely.

Is delivery free, and where does Tochta ship?+

Delivery is free on orders sent to the contiguous United States, and the brand ships within the United States. Alaska and Hawaii are served as well, but at an extra charge, so ordering to either state adds freight that the free delivery figure does not cover.

What is inside Tochta mattresses and sheets?+

Tochta sells memory foam mattresses, with Utopia built around a dual phase memory foam that recovers quickly. Alongside them sit sheets and toppers, and the listed materials are cotton and memory foam. The Dream Collection sheets are described as pure cotton at 600 thread count.

How thick are Tochta mattresses?+

Thickness varies by model rather than being fixed across the range. The Utopia mattress is listed at 15.24 to 25.4 cm, which sits in the taller band and gives a side sleeper more surface to settle into. Firmness runs separately from height, so a thicker profile does not force a firm feel.

Can I speak to someone about a warranty claim?+

Support is available by phone, by email and through the online help centre, so a claim about a manufacturing defect under the 10-year warranty can be raised directly with the company. Phone suits anything urgent, such as a delivery problem, while the online help centre suits a claim that needs a written record.

How much do the Tochta Dream Collection sheets cost?+

The Dream Collection sheets start at $144, and that figure is quoted for the sheets themselves rather than for any mattress model. They are described as pure cotton at 600 thread count, sold for any bed. Read the starting figure as a guide to this range and price each mattress separately.
